fine lines and thoughts on aging (ft. derma-e)
The older I get, the more I start to worry about the aging process. I know that sounds like such a vain thought but it's something I can't help but to wonder about. There are so many things to consider; genes, products you use that could be detrimental, etc. And while I'd like to think that I will age gracefully like so many beautiful women before me, it's one of those things you won't know until you get there! After turning 30 last year, the thoughts have become more frequent and I decided to take my skin more seriously.
I'm embarrassed to admit that my old skincare routine mainly consisted of some facial scrub I bought from Walmart and regular (all-over) lotion for moisturizing afterwards. I never really put too much thought into it until I saw so much dryness after applying my foundation recently! I looked like a crusty mess!!!
I was very fortunate to partner with Derma-E and start giving their products a try! I started using their Skin Restore Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum and Moisturizer every morning and night (as recommended). I waited a few weeks so I can give an honest and accurate review and I am happy to say that I love these products!
I am a very animated person (at least, in real life lol) so my face is constantly smooshing and being bent in all sorts of ways to express every single emotion my little body can handle. I started to notice fine lines in-between my brows and right under the inner corners of my eyes. After using DERMA-E religiously, I was so shocked to see that it was working!
Sure....everyone claims to work wonders on your face and I, being highly acquainted with marketing, am always super skeptical when hearing about products. So when I started seeing these lines getting less and less visible, I wanted to shout it out on the roof!
Needless to say, I am a newly addicted customer! I'm going to be sharing more posts on my skin journey with DERMA-E here so don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter :)
Are there any other skincare routines you fill live up to their marketing pitch?!
***products in this post were complementary of DERMA-E but all opinions will always be my own***
